T.G. Green Coddlers

There are variations in body types and lids, which will be covered in detail with each pattern.

Backstamps

Backstamp Type 1 consists of the image of a church, the words T.G.GREEN Ltd, CHURCH GRESLEY, and MADE IN ENGLAND in three lines below the church.

Backstamp Type 2 consists of the words OVEN TO TABLEWARE above a smaller image of a church. There is a date in Roman Numerals below the church. In a circle surrounding them are the words: DETERGENT ALKALI & ACID RESISTANT, MADE IN ENGLAND, GRESLEY, T.G.GREEN LTD..

Backstamp Type 3 is very similar to Type 2. There is a circle of writing imprinted, and inside the circle, at the bottom, is a smaller image of a church. There is a date in Roman Numerals below the church. In the circle are the words: ALKALI & ACID RESISTANT, MADE IN ENGLAND, GRESLEY, T.G.GREEN LTD.. There is an additional phrase that I can't make out.

Backstamp Type 4 consists of the words MADE IN, and ENGLAND in two lines in the centre of the coddler.

TG-UNK02 [1]	A series of convex coddlers with pedestals, all with various fruits on a beige/tan background.
TG-UNK03 [1]	Pottery convex coddler without pedestal with pottery lid. Plain cream glaze. [Details]
Oak Grove	Pottery convex coddler without pedestal with pottery lid. Hand-painted stylized red and blue flowers and green leaves. [Details]
TG-UNK04 [1]	Pottery convex coddler without pedestal with pottery lid. Light tan glaze with I'm a good egg in black script. [Details]
TG-UNK05 [1]	Pottery convex coddler without pedestal with pottery lid. Light tan glaze with my best egg in black script. [Details]
Beeline	We know that T.G. Green produced a coddler by this name, but not what it looks like.
Flora	We believe that T.G. Green might have produced a coddler in a pattern by this name. We have not been able to verify this information.
Granville	We know that T.G. Green produced a coddler by this name, but not what it looks like.
Keystone	We know that T.G. Green produced a coddler by this name, but not what it looks like.
