Porcelaine de Paris Egg Coddlers

Porcelaine de Paris manufactured two styles of egg coddler: concave, and convex with a pedestal.

Concave Coddlers

These coddlers are double-sized concave coddlers.

The backstamps are marked PORCELAINE DE PARIS, FRANCE, a pair of crossed arrows, and either DEPUIS 1773 or FONDEE EN 1773, the pattern name, and in some cases, a number.

Patterns

Lafitte

This pattern is decorated in orange and gold with stylized flowers, and some flowers.
The backstamp is labelled Decor Lafitte, FONDEE EN 1773, and the number 15.

Les Fruits Sauvages (Wild Fruit)

This pattern is decorated with strawberries, leaves, and some flowers. The backstamp includes the label Les Fruits Sauvages and the number 23.

Les Quatre Saisons (The Four Seasons)

This pattern is decorated with various fruits and flowers. The backstamp includes the label Decor Les Quatre Saisons.

This pattern is decorated with bright orange flowers. The backstamp includes the label Decor Yunam.

This pattern is decorated with a large red flower, that has a pink and green centre. The backstamp includes the label Decor Pavot.

We do not currently have a picture of this coddler.



Rose

This pattern is decorated with a single pink rose, that has a pink and green centre. The backstamp includes the label Decor Rose.

We do not currently hava picture of this coddler.

This pattern is decorated with small flowers. We do not know the name of this pattern

North American Bird Coddlers

These coddlers are double-sized convex coddlers, with a pedestal, and are decorated with various North American bird species. We've been told that there are six different coddlers in this set, but have only found names for three at this time.

The backstamps are marked PORCELAINE DE PARIS, FRANCE, a pair of crossed arrows, without the pattern name.
