These coddlers are double-sized cylindrical coddlers.
There are several different patterns, with a common theme: fuzzy birds and flowering branches. There are also variations within a given pattern, suggesting maybe several different decals for each - or maybe a degree of hand-painting. In addition, there are other porcelain objects that we've seen with the same backstamp text as these coddlers: © 1977 MARY MUGG and LICENSEE ENESCO. In some examples, the word JAPAN also appears on the bottom.

The following list of egg coddlers all have a similar body shape and style. We do not have any conclusive data linking them together, nor have we any reason to believe that some, if not all were made by the same manufacturer or are part of a set.
